This week in Core 4 and 5:
I apologize for the long absence of weekly blog posts! If you've been on campus lately, you can feel the busy energy around here! Needless to say, the energy is similar in our Core 4 and 5 spaces. We have been working diligently on our Humanities Passion Projects, and making our way through CAASP testing.
We can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Most students have presented their practice presentation for Humanities and received feedback from me. Please look over their checklists with feedback as students make revisions to their projects. Overall, I am incredibly impressed with the autonomy, creativity, and deep learning that our students are demonstrating!
For the week(s) of POLS, we realize that you may want to home-school your student on days that he/she is not presenting. However, know that we encourage attendance everyday, and there will be multiple content-specific activities planned:
-finishing up passion projects/POLS
-some new science content
-math review
-math MAPS testing
-art/maker's space
-narrative writing assignments
Have a great weekend!
