Core 5 will be practicing mindfulness with me in the morning, and Core 4 will be practicing mindfulness after lunch with Rita.
For Core 5 students, it is SO important that everyone is in their seat and ready to go at 9:15 am. When students arrive late and enter the room during mindfulness practice, they lose out on a chance to really engage in the practice, and it disrupts the practice of others.
There are countless benefits of incorporating mindfulness practice into our lives-My favorite is the ability to use mindfulness to reduce stress. Something that I really value, and value for our kiddos :)
